Anyone know about any LEGIT online business opportunities?

I'm trying to start an online business through eBay as a Reseller. Anyone have any helpful hints for me? Is this the best way to go for a LEGIT online business without investing an arm and a leg??? Any and all help is appreciated :)

If you are thinking about selling online, the best way is to have your own business website with all the necessary functions. eBay is getting too price competitive but remains a good way to attract customers into your own biz site and to build up your reputation. Unless you can survive the price-cutting war, don't put all your transactions on eBay.

You can check out GoDaddy.com first for business website needs, and to see if they fit your budget. They are dirt cheap to my standard, compare to many others; and are as reliable as Yahoo I'd say.

If you don't know how to build a website that suits your need, elance.com is a good place to put on your project and others will bid to build one for you. This way you may get a nice website without losing an arm or leg.

Product wise, I'd say the best is information. It requires no physical shipping nor inventory stocking. There's no exchange issue to worry about.

But if you are thinking about selling tangible goods, worldwidebrands.com might have a list of suppliers that you like, but I can't guarantee these vendors are the real wholesalers because I've never tried them. They might be middlemen and if they are, you know you can't play price-cutting games. But these vendors are happy to deal with light volumes, even 1 item at a time is fine. Some will also do drop-shipping for you so the item goes to your customer directly from their warehouse instead of going through you.

That's all I know. And I hope it helps.

Good luck! =)
