What are the cheapest, yet successful home based business opportunities?

Dear Brandy,

Laura J said it all. Do your due diligence and start your business with those who can mentor you and show you how personally for they had done it themselves like Laura J. (not by buying 95 CDs and e-books with another $1,700.00 worth of free bonus if you order now)

You may want to start with this free information

www.debtfree.the7greatliesofnetworkmar... for getting involved in Network Marketing is generally (not always) the least expensive way to start your business plus with good mentor and you being coachable your success is practically guaranteed. All the best to you.

Word of caution: stay away from those who claim if you order their course or CD "how to" you will make zillions just like John B. who made 60K in three weeks. They make their money selling you mostly very useless course.

What are the cheapest, yet successful home based business opportunities?

Reply:Hi Brandy,

There are many home business opportunities out there, and in my experience, there is no blanket answer for this question.

I have had much success with direct sales party plan companies, and for me, it works great because I am able to market a product that someone else puts the effort into developing. Look for a company that does not require you to have a minimum order each month, or that doesn't require you to stock inventory.

Party plan works because your host gathers potential buyers for you - people you might not have had a way of connecting with. How often you decide to do a party is up to you.

Look for a product that sells easily, and a company that offers great incentives that don't cost you money. If the incentives and marketing plan are above standard, it will be easier for you to sell your product, book parties, and recruit others into the business (thus building your passive income stream)

Good luck with your quest, and let me know if I can help you in any way!

Reply:Hi Brandy! I agree with everything Laura J. said and I hope you aren't only limiting yourself to "free or cheap" as a lot of people do. Usually those are the ones you see jump from business to business because the free and cheap ones aren't usually the big money makers. I do think that with direct sales you do not need to break the bank to get started. A modest starter kit should be enough to get you through your first 6 weeks, long enough to see if it's a good match for you. If you find a product you can be passionate about and would use yourself anyway, give it a try and if at the end of the 6 weeks you don't really love it, at least you've gotten some great products and training for your time and small investment. I am a member of the DSWA (Direct Selling Women's Alliance) and have found many quality people through my local chapter as well as in their classes and programs. They have some great opportunities in their Classifieds section, and I can tell you from personal experience that anyone affiliated with the DSWA will be a legitimate, principled business woman. Good luck in your search!

Feel free to contact me through my site and I'll be happy to sit and tell you exactly what you should see in a business, and what you don't want to see!

Reply:The best business to get started with is the travel business.

$40,000 a second is spent on travel in the USA alone.

Becareful which company you join though....they are not all the same.

This is the one that is the least expensive to join and pays out the highest commissions.

Reply:There a lot of home based business people are doing. This will depends on your product, services or contents that you are doing.

For me, I think the cheapest, easy and yet successful should be selling e-book and through some affiliate marketing. It could automate your business from selling till back end payment and delivery.

I am a mom and was looking for something I could believe in. I found it. I am proud of who I work with, and what they do. And even better, I get to work from home the way I want to, with my kids by my side. No selling, stocking or delivering products and we don’t have to run around chasing people. Let me share with you what is changing my life
Reply:Cheapest isn't necessarily going to bring in the dough. If you knew if you spent a thousand and were guaranteed 10,000 a month your first year, would you do it?

Its not about a cheap start up, its if the product or service is in demand and unique enough to eliminate competition, then and only then, you've found a great thing.

Direct Sales businesses require an investment ranging from 100 to 1200 and every month, expect to pay for the product or service, in order to become familiar with it.. and expect to pay an extra 65 a month on marketing expenses. Its all a tax write off, anyway.

Based on the compensation plan, you have to be very specific as to how much money you wish to make monthly and annually. You must create a plan to measure your results and re adjust as you and your team put their time and effort into making your financial dreams come true.

Measure how much time versus the specific financial goal you want and "when" you expect to achieve that income. Most people fail because they don't do this as they treat their business like a hobby and then cross their arms not wanting to spend another penny until they get something for nothing.

You do all of the right things with a plan and with the right business and its guaranteed you will make the income you want.

I am a business mentor. I've done it and I've taken people with me who have done it.

Whatever you decide to do, make sure it is something that you can be excited about and love their product, that will help you want to be successful and others need to see your excitement in order for them to get excited about it.

I am with a company and absolutely love it! We offer traveling stuff your own animal workshops and parties (similar to the Build A Bear concept) where we host the animal stuffing workshops at birthday parties, daycares, schools, for scout groups and more. We also have our Bella Bee line that consists of glittery fun glamour products for tween girls that also teach the values of being as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside and the girls, and their parents, love this!

We have a promotional starting kit going on right now, only through September 30th for only $29 , normally our starter kit is $129. We also have many additional add-on kits at 50% off that you are able to purchase after joining within the first couple of weeks to help you with stocking inventory if you choose to do so. We earn 35% on our website sales (they give us a great free website) and 35 to 45% commissions on products depending on your order size.

The collectible products are awesome and high quality, with safety being a top priority. Our parent company has been involved with the DSA for years and we have a very solid foundation.

We have professional graphic designers that have designed wonderful ads and flyers for us that we just add our own information to and print out, and they also will submit press releases for us whenever we would like.

We also have monthly promotions that offer products for large groups at only $10 each and are very popular! The support and marketing materials are the best, and they also have an annual convention in Chicago, a annual rally in Chicago, an annual cruise that you can win in the fall and other contests for the members.

You do not have to recruit others into the company, but have the option of being able o do that if you would like to.

One of the great things is that it is a family business your whole family can be a part of. You can even take your children with you to host the workshops. I am a single mom and have been in this business over 2 years and it is my sole source of income...but like any business, you do need to actually work it to be successful...you cannot just sign up and tell a few peope and think that the money will start coming in, it doesnt work that way, however it will succeed if you want it to!

Please see my website at www.NoahsArkWorkshopUSA.com and check it out, and email me if you have any questions. I have an awesome team and support and love being able to help others get their own business started and seeing them succeed!

Good Luck
