There are several legit home based businesses and they will all fall under the category of having to pay some sort of fee to join, usually from $30-$50 and they will be product or service driven.
What most people don't take into consideration when they DO join a legitimate biz opp are two things...... the compensation plan and the Policies and Procedures. Yes, you can earn income, but how hard do they make it?
I have been in more than one home based biz in my time and learned a lot. I wrote a blog recently about advice on working from home. It's not a commercial to get you into something, just all generic information, how to research, things to look for, things to run from, etc...

I know that I haven't given you a good and legit home based business lead; however, I think it is more important that you know how to evaluate offerings for yourself than just to take someone else's word for it that they have the next best thing to sliced bread.
