I need some extra money to pay my family back and to support myself financially. Any serious ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. :)
What are some good part-time business opportunities for college students?
If possible, try to get a job that has something to do with your major. Even better, if you can--start a business of your own. I put myself through school (well, the last three years of school) by starting and operating a small advertising agency that catered to local businesses, college organizations, and individuals. I did print ads only, and I had a stable of art %26amp; photography students that clients could choose to work with (or not) if they needed art/photography. That and a part-time job in the Business Library (plus the occasional selling of plasma, when times were really tough) got me through. You would not BELIEVE how impressed interviewers were with the fact that I had started my own business. That was probably the best payoff of all.

Reply:What year are you in college? I ask because I sell Mary Kay and have found that freshmen in college don't really know anyone that can spend the money on the makeup/skincare or even as gifts at that point. Pretty much her only sales her freshmen year in college were Mother's Day - because the college kids don't mind spending the money on their Mom's.
She found that as she got into her freshman year, and the relationships got more serious she could then approach her male friends and sell for girlfriend birthdays and Valentine's Days.
MK is a low start up cost - just under $115 gets you everything you need to know and about $350 worth of product. They have a website for consultants that is a plethora of information, down to how to use Excel. They have a flip chart to help you get through any skincare classes that you want to do - but you don't have to do that to be successful.
Q's? See the link to my website!
Reply:You should join http://www.moneymakers.pdnr.com and http://www.creativecash.pdnr.com to make money online. There are no upfront costs, and the sites are legit. I have received many checks from them before. You earn money by completing surveys, and trying free trials, suck as Netflix. Get a few friends to sign up as you referrals and you can earn even more, plus a $1 bonus on one of the sites. I've made as much as $75 a day! Try it out!
